Well, this was one of the first few Life Lessons we made. We originally didn’t have much order to the life lessons and we just put random numbers to them. When we went to put them in an official list, we had Life Lesson 3, “Your friends are always cooler than you”, as number 2; and Life Lesson , “Women are always right”, was number 1. When we started putting them into an official list we decided that for several reasons that this should be number 1. These reasons will also help explain this life lesson.
Here are a few of those reasons:
1) God should always be number one in our lives in every situation.

The first of the Ten Commandments says: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Ex. 20:3; Deut. 5:7).
With that said, I believe that we are capable of making anything into a god if we devote enough time to it. So, I think that absolutely nothing should ever come before God. He should always be number one in every situation of our lives.
2) He created us!

Genesis 1:26-27 says: “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
See there, that’s proof. In the first book of the Bible, it tells how one of things God did in the first week ever was create man kind. He is so great that He created us. Yeah, your parents physically made you, but if God never did that then none of us would ever be here.
3) He let His one and only son die for us!
John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God let His only son come down to earth, live life tempted as a human. And 33ish years later, that same son died for each and every one of us. He went through more pain and torture than anyone has before; He made the ultimate sacrifice so that no one will ever have to sacrifice anything for their sins again. All we have to do is ask for Him to forgive us for our sins and bam we’re forgiven! No more blood animal sacrifices. He also did this so that we may all fully enter His presence; no more only high priest in the holy of holy place. We can all now enter there anytime anywhere because of what He did.
Thats’s pretty much why God is the coolest and greatest, no matter what. I include “no matter what” in that one because there is absolutely nothing that you or anyone can ever do to be greater or cooler than Him. So, today take the time where ever you are to thank Him for everything He has done, and thank Him for being the coolest and greatest no matter what!
